Primitive Culture Officially Endorses Romance!
Primitive Culture has played a LOT of shows in the last 16 years, so there's not a lot we haven't seen. But at the Hody Bar in Middleton on February 9 was the first time we've ever seen THIS: on the dance floor between songs, a young lad on bended knee popped the question to his girlfriend!
Judging from her response, proposal was accepted. ❤️

Important Show Announcement
Primitive Culture will be sharing the stage with the Royal Southern Brotherhood for two dates in July: Thursday July 14, for La Fete de la Marquette at Central Park in Madison, WI, and Saturday July 16 for the Bastille Day Celebration at Cathedral Square Park in Milwaukee, WI.
Royal Southern Brotherhood features Cyril Neville (of Neville Bros on vocals & percs), Tyrone Vaughn (Jimmy Vaughn's son on guitar), the amazing Bart Walker (guitar/vocals), and the very tight and talented rhythm section of Yonrico Scott (drums) and Darrell Phillips (bass/vocals).

MAMAs Winners!
Thanks to all of you who voted in the Madison Area Music Awards! We are very honored to win 5 MAMAs this year: Album of the Year (for our record "Fantasy"); Song of the Year (for "Hookup") in the World Music category; Live Performers of the Year; and our esteemed horn section, Bob Corbit and Phil Lyons, respectively took home Woodwind Instrumentalist and Brass Instrumentalist of the Year!
